bittersweet

why do so many things in life seem so bittersweet?
I miss my husband. . . these last three days were great, we had fun, we were together all the time, it was just awesome. But every so often I would remember that he was leaving soon. And now that he's gone I feel. . . empty. . . alone.
I think I need to sleep.
But it's going to be hard without him next to me.
